Well while we were home in NJ for the week, we decided to make the 3 hour drive to PA and visit once again with Mike Dillon and his brother Steve at the FoxPro House. I had mine and Heath's FX3 in tow to be upgraded.

Mike was absolutely awesome as usual and just amazes me as to how well he does his job as an ambassador for his company. He and my family have met and talked in length before, but he treated my in-laws and my nephew like they've known each other there whole life. I got to meet Steve Dillon while we were there also and just like Mike, he is a first class guy. There father is still working like he just started the company yesterday, spending most of his time in the engineering room coming up and testing new ideas.

Mike showed us all around the company and took us through the whole process, from start to finish on how all the FoxPro products are built. Being an Electronics Technician, I gained great respect for alot of the things that they do IN HOUSE, instead of farming jobs out to contractors, it ensures quality in the product. I was amazed everytime we went into a different room at what they were doing. FoxPro takes so many steps throughout the process to ensure that everything is done correctly and with the highest quality possible and they check every little piece that goes into there calls.

They have a lot of things in the works for the future, some things that Mike wouldn't even talk to me about. I think he said they had about 5 new projects going right now that will be released possibly next year or so. Along with trying to turn half of there warehouse into an indoor archery range. Steve just returned from a trip to Alaska where he got some awesome sounding SnowShoe Hare distress recordings and they are planning to release 41 new sounds in the next couple of weeks.

It was just an awesome time with some really awesome people. If you ever had any doubts on whether or not there products are worth the price, I can tell you from experience that the quality control that the put into there stuff is well worth the price alone..

Tim, the second I put my hands on my FX3 I never doubted the quailty. If I had any doubt that was cleared up the night yours took a tumble off your roof and rolled down the road and still worked. Good to hear about the quality of people behind the product are just as good. I imagine my FX3 is headed in for an upgrade sometime in March.
