so i'm buying a new pack for a back packing trip to whitey but i'm also going to be using it for a hunting pack in the fall and when i move to Idaho. so have one and what do you guys think about it? i'm buying the 4500 because the 2200 dosent have enought space and from what i've been tolled the 2800 has more space but smaller pockets so really less space.

so what do you guys think?

Around here Whitey's everywhere and you don't need a backpack.

Heath, that is some kind of pack. I worry that if I loaded it up and tripped how would I get up?

I personally use the Eberlestock J104. It's the bigger brother of the pack posted by CF. I really like the J104.

I can't help you, then. I was always a Kelty guy back when I was back packing and camping out.

I've always been a NorthFace guy. NorthFace has never disappointed me. I use Fieldline packs without any problems. Simply find something that works. I swear it's a trial and error thing.
