This is the official topic for entering your 2007 - 2008 bobcat pictures!
The pictures must be of bobcats that you've legally shot this hunting season. The last day for submitting your picture is March 2nd. I am going to give a $25 gift certificate to the first place winner of this contest. The winner will be determined through a poll that will run for 7 days after the last day to submit your picture. The person with the most votes wins! In the event of a tie for first place I will start a second poll for just those who tied and run it for another three days. I'll print any size pictures up to 4' tall and mount it to a foam core material and it'll be suitable for hanging to the winner's. I will need the highest resolution image possible. Oh, and I'll also do the skulls of the winning animals. If you have any questions just ask. And good luck! |

Here is a pic of a bob that my dogs put up a tree. One of my dogs tracked it back and brought back a little cottontail it just killed.

Here is my tom that I killed the day before Thanksgiving. I was actually deer hunting and he just showed up. He has been tagged by the Game Warden and now sits in the Taxi's freezer. A guess weight is about 30lbs.

And just why isn't it an official entry? You aren't going to be the judge are you? We are all going to vote. You should enter.

No, since I have the admin rights to alter all the votes I wanted to stay out of it. I know several of you would have no objection to me joining in but I wanted to do it this way for those members who don't know me.

I got this bobcat Sunday morning on my 3d stand, and decided to make one more stand as the wind was blowing pretty hard. As I got to the place I wanted to call I was looking for a place to set the call and 2 mountain lions ran up the hill, no further than 30 yards. I started looking around to see what was going on when I found a nice buck they had been eating on. Not much left of the buck but the head was still good, and I did take it. The lions were about half grown, I figured about 60 pounds each. From the amount of tracks the must have been camped right there.
