Here's my 870 that I plan on useing for yotes and turkeys. Once upon a time I didn't have the cash to buy a deer rifle (or a rifled slug barrel) for an up comeing deer season so I got a smoothbored tube. I never got a deer with it and the barrel was pretty much useless with its IC choke. I recently had it threaded for choke tubes and I think it will make for a very versitile rig. I just got done giving it a rattle-camo job.

You can see the pattern a little better here

Thanks CF. A neighbor came by the other day and told me that he has a few yotes that frequent his ranch, he knows right where two big dens are, and that I was welcome to come over and handle 'em whenever I want. I want to really bad but I think I should probably wait until they've had thier pups.........and I can do some in depth pattern testing.

If he is having problems with them then go take care of the problem. If you do and let him know it is done he will remember you next time coyotes become a nuisance.

They aren't causeing him any grief otherwise I'd have been there already. He's an almond farmer so if anything they're keeping his ground squirrel population down.........but once the nuts are off the trees those yotes are going down!
