If there isn't anyone local I've heard Champion Tanner (same website as name) does good work by mail.

Advantage Fur Dressing in Houston, Texas is a tannery in Houston, Tx. you can ship to, which is reasonable and has a quick turn around. They tanned my cat and put the backing mat on it for my taxidermist back in 98.

Golden state tannery in Turlock, dont know the number...Probably in phone book.

If your looking for a rug like the cat above... THAT is a whole different ball game.

A wall hanger is just a tanned skin....
a rug, is dry tanned, sewn, then head mounted, then felt, pad and backing is put on..

Wildlife Fur dressers in Ceres is fairly cheap just to tan, but they lost their main tan guy so are running way behind right now.
Also I dont know if they let you ship it in green frozen or if you have to split, turn and salt dry it.. Youd have to ask them..
